MEET Heather Leon
Title: Therapeutic Music Facilitator
Credentials: BS, MT-BC
Problem: Maybe you've spent years being strong for everyone else. Pushing through discomfort. Staying quiet in male-dominated spaces. Surviving things, no one ever truly saw. Maybe opening up feels risky, or you've been dismissed one too many times. You're not broken. You’re tired.
I work with women like you. Women who’ve faced trauma, assault, invisibility, and the pressure to keep going. In therapy, we create a space that’s yours. Private. Compassionate. Rooted in respect. You won’t be rushed or judged. You’ll be met with care that honors your boundaries, your voice, and your pace.
You don’t have to carry it alone anymore. I’m here to help you come home to yourself.
Maybe you’re not comfortable talking about your problems, or you're concerned about privacy, or you don't know how to fit another appointment into your schedule. I can help with that!
Solution: Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve been overlooked, silenced, or told to “just push through.” At Oak Tree Counseling & Wellness, Heather provides a gentle entry point into the healing process. She offers:
• Affordable therapy for those seeking support without financial strain
• A nonjudgmental space where you can be heard, not hurried
• Compassionate care rooted in trauma-informed practices
• A chance to reclaim your voice, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself
• Support for navigating grief, burnout, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship stress
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning after a difficult experience, Together, we can address whatever might be holding you back and set goals to improve your mental and emotional well-being. I use an integrative and pragmatic approach to therapy, tailoring the process to you and helping you choose and implement solutions to the problems you want to address.
Result: Therapy is work, but it's also rewarding and life-improving. I can help you do that work and pursue the life-improving rewards you want.
